It directs its heat rays evenly and precisely exactly where they are wanted. This way, you can create a cosy, feel-good atmosphere anytime with one or several infrared heaters.

IR 3050 with Low Glare – the professional device with 3 heat settings and remote control

The heat intensity of the 95 cm long heating professional can be easily adjusted via remote control in 3 heat levels: 1,000 watts, 2,000 watts or 3,000 watts. The rule is: the higher the wattage, the larger the heated area covered. Thanks to the modern Low Glare infrared ray technology (detailed information below), the IR 3050 operates very energy-efficiently without preheating, with 80 percent less light emission and completely odourless and noiseless. The tilt angle, which can be swiveled 30° up and down, allows the heat rays to be precisely directed. The elegant and slim design of the IR 3050 fits perfectly into any environment.

WEATHERPROOF AND ROBUST

The high-quality aluminium housing with protection class IP65 cannot be damaged by rain, splash water from all sides or dust particles. Therefore, the IR 3050 is ideal for use in covered and uncovered outdoor areas – even in work environments with intense dust development. All mounting brackets, screws, and plugs for professional wall mounting (no ceiling mounting!) and commissioning are already included in the delivery. With the practical remote control, the heater can also be conveniently switched on and off in hard-to-reach places. The two-colour LEDs on the device show you the current operating mode.

Infrared warmth inspired by nature

The rays from the sun do not warm the surrounding air but only the solid bodies they hit. The IR 3050 professional device works on the same principle: unlike convection heaters, the emitted infrared rays do not heat the air but the objects and people they strike. People feel a pleasant warmth on their skin and clothing while heat-storing objects such as tables, benches, floors, or walls additionally emit heat into the surroundings as secondary sources. Because the heat generation is clean, condensation-free, fan-free, and does not stir up dust, this heating solution is also suitable for allergy sufferers.

It is obvious that external factors such as drafts, surface size, and distance to the heater play central roles in the perception of warmth. The greater the distance to the heater, the larger the irradiated area, but the heating intensity decreases. The 3,000-watt infrared heater is suitable for heating an area of 12 m² to 20 m². Drafts should be avoided as much as possible since cold air neutralises the heat effect. LOW GLARE: 100% HEAT, 80% LESS LIGHT

Infrared heaters without Low Glare technology produce not only heat but also an intense orange-red light. The two short-wave infrared tubes of the IR 3050 reduce this bright red light by up to 80 percent. Thus, the area of use is not additionally illuminated – at 100 percent heating power.

Atmospheric lighting

Heater tubes with Low Glare technology produce a higher proportion of invisible infrared light. In addition, a special tube coating bundles the infrared radiation and reduces scattering losses. Therefore, a romantic candlelight dinner on the terrace or atmospheric party lighting in outdoor catering is hardly affected.

Economical use

The high-quality Low Glare short-wave infrared tubes convert most of the supplied electric current directly into infrared radiation. They are therefore extremely energy-efficient and guarantee a long service life of around 6,000 hours of illumination with consistently high heating performance.

Note: Even if the Low Glare tubes glow similarly intensively reddish as conventional infrared tubes, they still emit 80 percent less visible light. The desired lighting concept therefore still works even at full intensity of the heat source.

Connection tip: When switching on the heater, there may be a momentary surge current for milliseconds. This can cause circuit breakers of category 16A-B to trip at a power of up to 3,000 watts. Therefore, you should use a fuse (overcurrent protection device) or a type C circuit breaker.
